KR with glassesKR

The founder of Salon Auteur and resident hipster, KR has been in love with fantasy and science fiction since his parents introduced him to The Hobbit and Star Wars at the tender age of ten. He works days as an online marketer, and at night works on his first fantasy novel, Invoker. His favourite authors include Patrick Rothfuss, Timothy Zahn, Glen Cook, and Orson Scott Card. He has an unhealthy fascination with urban fantasy of all kinds, and wishes that elves really did live in Williamsburg.

Victoria Silinas with orange tongueVictoria Silenus

Wife of KR and arch-enemy of their cat, Butterscotch Prescott, Victoria Silenus has been a closeted fantasy lover and writer since middle school. Tamora Pierce and J.K. Rowling started the fire, which only grew with the introduction of Tolkien, Garth Nix, and other influential authors. Since the 9th grade, she has been avidly writing for several audiences: fellow members of roleplay forums, school arts magazines, and personal pieces shared with a select few. Currently, she is writing about literature on the blog Jabberwocky Anonymous and working on two cathartic novels that serve as the yin and yang counterparts of her psyche: the pacifist and the antagonist.

Jenny B.

Jenny (aka “Gwen”) has been writing so long that she’s forgotten when she started. Most of her work is fantasy set in medieval worlds, with a dash of poetry and a bit of playwriting thrown in. Her favourite authors include Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Shakespeare, and Ted Dekker. When she is not writing (or working), she is often found doing something else creative or looking up medieval weaponry—with which she is obsessed—in her favourite reference book. She is currently working on two closely related novels, Bane of Foes and Perseverance.
